The CMS Group is the German national dealer network of DAW. Consisting of 13 dealers and with
about 170 locations, the network covers the whole of Germany. The dealers in the CMS Group not only deal in paint, but also maintain a wide and comprehensive product range for the main target groups of painters and floor layers. CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH itself acts as a service provider for the specialist retailers. All administrative tasks are handled by CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH. Locally, the sales and logistics tasks are controlled by the dealer's management.
Foundation
CMS was founded in 1994 as a department within the DAW organisation. In 2001 the department was separated out as an independent company, i.e. "Caparol Marketing Services GmbH". Due to the services offered to dealers by "CMS", the company was renamed in 2014 as "CMS Dienstleistungs-GmbH".

Product highlights
Since Caparol and Alligator are sold exclusively through paint wholesale dealers, DAW decided to become active in the dealership itself through share holdings in wholesalers. Along with paints, they also sell carpets, floor coverings, tools, machines and much more.
Distribution
At the specialist dealers fleets of vehicles stand ready to supply customers within 24 hours, but sometimes even on the same day. Deliveries are made to the customers' building sites or directly to the operating locations. Due to a sales network covering all the dealers, customers can be supplied at any building site within Germany.
