Governance

Our aim is to be a fair and reliable partner to our customers, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and to act respectfully toward the environment. The foundation of our governance is our Code of Conduct, which sets out binding rules of proper behavior for employees. Awareness-raising, such as through training sessions, brings proper behavior to life. Clear structures, standards, processes, and defined responsibilities provide the framework.

Certifications as tool for standardization

Clear structures, responsibilities, processes, and uniform standards within an organization are hallmarks of effective governance and form the basis for responsible and effective corporate management. To further develop group-wide standards and ensure their compliance, we use certifications as tools and are establishing ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 50001 standards at all locations in the medium term.

A fair and reliable partner for our employees, business partners and suppliers

Proper behavior ensures we live up to our ambition to treat people and the environment fairly. Our Code of Conduct specifies internal rules of behavior and requires compliance—including in regards to human rights, fair working conditions, responsible treatment of the environment, and product quality and safety. It applies to all employees.

As part of an active compliance management system, regular training—on topics such as antitrust law, anti-corruption, and data protection—anchors proper behavior throughout the organization.
