Innovation Processes

For many years now, DAW has been continually developing an individually tailored innovation process that also ties in with the company’s sustainability management.

From the very beginning, there was a heavy focus on creating a process which allows for decisions to be made quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, this process needed to be flexible and dynamic enough to be able to adapt it to ever-changing framework conditions.

DAW’s innovation process is made up of three key components.

Foresight:

Foresight makes use of megatrend, macrotrend and microtrend analysis to illustrate potential fields of action and innovation.

Ideation:

During the ideation process, ideas that could be relevant for DAW are generated, discussed and evaluated in order to develop them further into specific concepts.

Back-End:

The structured back-end process ensures that the selected innovation projects (products, processes, services and business models) are implemented consistently. This sub-process is concluded with a successful market launch.
