Dr. Christoph Hahner joined DAW SE in July 2014 as Executive Board Member R&D. His responsibility also includes all International Competence Centers as well as the RMI test institute. Dr. Hahner studied chemistry in Würzburg. For many years he gained experience in numerous functions for WACKER AG in Germany and abroad. Before joining DAW SE, Dr. Hahner held the position of Vice President R&D/Strategy at Laticrete International, a U.S. based company.


Since February 2017, Dr. Thomas Späth has been the Managing Director of DAW SE and is responsible for the Finance, Controlling and IT Divisions.  After his Chemistry studies and subsequent Doctorate at the University of Göttingen, Dr. Thomas Späth was employed from 1995 to 2001 at the Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant within Germany and abroad. In 2001 he took the position of Head of Group Controlling at the automotive supplier Benteler in Paderborn, and worked there from 2011 as Managing Director of Benteler Deutschland GmbH.


Daniel Weber has been an Executive Board Member of DAW SE as Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), responsible for purchasing, production and logistics, since November 2014. He studied Mechanical Engineering in Bochum and Texas. His professional career with various companies in the chemical industry in Germany and abroad has enabled him to accumulate broad experience in both the industrial and consumer sides of the business. 


Michael Wendler has been a member of the DAW SE Executive Board since April 2012. Since October 2014 he has been responsible as the COO for the complete operative business of DAW SE, and in addition since January 2015 for the domain Sales and Marketing International. After his studies at the University in Emden Mr Wendler started his professional career with the maxit Group, where he worked as director for more than 26 years. First as commercial manager, then as director of individual regional companies and then – until the sale of the maxit Group to the Saint-Gobain Group – as director of all the German maxit activities. In 2005 Mr Wendler changed to the board of the FIXIT Group where the emphasis of his activities was in Germany and Eastern Europe. Before then, in January 2010, he was appointed as Director of the DAW subsidiary, alsecco GmbH & Co. KG.
